Mitsa wins Future Material Award in Home Textiles
In November 2014, Mitsa received a Future Materials Award Best Innovation in Home Textiles 2014 for the revolutionary product Dermofresh®FR.
The unique product in terms of sustainability and flame-resistance, specially conceived for protection of bedding items in rooms of homes, hotels, hospitals, cruises, merchant vessels and inter alia.
This patented development has yielded several unique characteristics in one product:
- Natural textile surface 100% biobased
- Halogen-free and non-toxic product
- Flame-resistant complying with: ISO 12952, EN597, BS7175 up to Crib 5, IMO Part 9 and CFR Title 16 Part 1632
- Wash-resistant FR properties, permanent FR solution
- Inherent FR solution, as opposed to usual surface FR chemical finishes
- Comfortable, unnoticeable.
